Ashley McCullough
Director of Operations and Planning
Ashley McCullough is the Director of Operations and Planning for the Children’s Trust Fund Alliance, where she oversees strategic initiatives and manages day-to-day administrative and operational functions to ensure the Alliance can support members and networks in driving child abuse prevention efforts on a national scale.
Before joining the Alliance, Ashley spent over 15 years as a child welfare practitioner and reformist, wearing many hats: youth advocate, frontline worker, change-management consultant, and public agency program manager in California and Maryland. She brings expertise in business operations and providing technical assistance to public child welfare systems, helping organizations improve their practices and support for families. Ashley is also an experienced group facilitator, writer, trainer, and coach.
Ashley is deeply influenced by the importance of human connection and inclusion. She recognizes belonging as a core human need and believes that children never outgrow the need for family and do best when connected to their families.
Ashley lives in California with her wife, chosen family, and pup Marlie. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Stanford University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore.
